Brig. Gen. Scott Williams, the 169th FW commander at McEntire JNGB, S.C., addresses the wing during the change of command ceremony held in the hangar on Jan. 7, 2012. During the ceremony, command of the 169th FW was relinquished from Williams to Vice Commander, Col. Mike Hudson. The ceremony also marked Lt. Col. Linda Keck’s assumption of command of the 169th Mission Support Group. Her predecessor Col. Calvin Elam recently was selected to succeed Brig. Gen. Leck Patterson as South Carolina’s assistant adjutant general for Air. Keck’s former post as deputy commander of the 169th MSG now will be filled by Lt. Col. Rita Whitmire, who relinquished command of the 169th Security Forces Squadron to Lt. Col. Paul Laymon.
