U.S. Air Force pararescuemen, 58th Rescue Squadron, provide security for a simulated downed pilot upon reaching an extraction point during a combat training mission, Jan. 18, 2012, at the Nevada Test and Training Range. Pararescuemen are trained to provide emergency medical treatment in adverse terrain and conditions in combat or peacetime.
