UDAIRI RANGE, Kuwait (Feb. 27, 2019) – Explosive ordnance disposal technicians from the U.S. Army’s 705th Explosive Ordnance Disposal Company, Task Force Hellhound, Task Force Spartan, and the Air Force’s 407th and 386th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadrons work together adhere sheet explosives to 40 mm rounds in preparation for a controlled detonation of more than 6,800 pounds of unserviceable ammunition on the Udairi Range, Kuwait, Feb. 27, 2019. Additionally, Soldiers from the Ohio Army National Guard’s 637th Chemical Company and the Oklahoma National Guard’s 1245th Transportation Company assisted in placing the ordnance in separate shot pits.
