Commandant of the Marine Corps Gen. James Amos presents Gunnery Sgt. Jimmy Richard with the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation medal at the 2011 Commandant of the Marine Corps Combined Awards Program on Tuesday. Richard was named Drill Instructor of the Year for his superb performance as a drill instructor at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego.
