190301-N-SS350-0016 ATLANTIC OCEAN (March 1, 2019) Family and friends of Culinary Specialist Senior Chief Lleana Luke, from San Jose, Calif., assigned to the San Antonio-class Amphibious transport dock ship USS Anchorage (LPD 23), await her return on the pier at Naval Base San Diego March 1. USS Anchorage (LPD 23), of the Essex Amphibious Ready Group, returned to its homeport of San Diego following a successful eight-month deployment to the U.S. 5th, 6th and 7th Fleet areas of operation.
