UH-60 Blackhawk helicopters with 3rd Assault Helicopter Battalion, 1st Aviation Regiment, 1st Combat Aviation Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, arrive at airfield at Novo Selo Training Area, Bulgaria, March 4, 2019. 3-1 AHB recently began a rotation in Romania to support Atlantic Resolve, a joint NATO commitment to build readiness and enhance the bond between allied and partner nations through multinational training.
"The mission is to conduct a multi-ship gunnery," said Sgt. 1st Class Brent Jenkins, a platoon sergeant with 3rd Assault Helicopter Battalion, 1st Aviation Regiment, 1st Combat Aviation Brigade, 1st Infantry Division. "We are doing multiple air target acquisition and target transfer from one aircraft to another."
