Helen Ayer Patton, granddaughter of the legendary Gen. George S. Patton, Jr., who commanded the U.S. Third Army in France and Germany following the Allied invasion of Normandy, takes time to read the names of fallen Soldiers at the Screaming Eagle Memorial Aerie inside the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) headquarters during her visit to Fort Campbell, Feb. 25. During her visit, Patton met with the division’s senior leadership and toured the division headquarters, the Don F. Pratt Memorial Museum, several memorials and The Sabalauski Air Assault School.
