Japan Ground Self-Defense Force Sgt. 1st Class Tatsuya Koike locates a vein on U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Carlos Santana during IV training at the National Training Center, Fort Irwin, Calif., Feb. 24, 2019. U.S. Marines with 5th Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company, III Marine Expeditionary Force Information Group and JGSDF soldiers with 11th Infantry gave each other IVs to improve their medical skillset.
