A financial management technician with the 160th Financial Management Support Detachment verifies his target after firing for qualification with the M249 Squad Automatic Weapon at the Florence Military Reservation firing range on March 8, 2019. After zeroing their weapons, Soldiers must fire a series of controlled bursts and score a minimum of 35 out of 51 points in order to meet Army qualification standards on the M249 squad automatic weapon. Reviewing their shot groupings on their targets gives each soldier the opportunity to make adjustments for accuracy.
