190310-N-NB178-2013 MAJURO, Republic of the Marshall Islands (March 10, 2019) Pacific Partnership 2019 officers from the U.S. Navy, Royal Navy, Royal Australian Navy, Peruvian Navy, and the Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force depart a meeting at the house of U.S. Ambassador for the Republic of the Marshall Islands Karen Stewart. Pacific Partnership, now in its 14th iteration, is the largest annual multinational humanitarian assistance and disaster relief preparedness mission conducted in the Indo-Pacific. Each year, the mission team works collectively with host and partner nations to enhance regional interoperability and disaster response capabilities, increase stability and security in the region, and foster new and enduring friendships in the Indo-Pacific.
