“I grew up in Olongapo until I left when I was 10. I joined when I was 22 and I’ve been in for 22 years. I grew up as I guess you can say a bad kid. I joined the Navy so I could get out of that. I was able to make my family proud. My cousins know I’m in the Navy and they heard I’ll be visiting. It means a lot to come back to the place I was born. I’m very honored to be back while making my family proud.”
