U.S. Air Force Major General Rickey N. Rupp, Director of Operations, Headquarters U.S. Transportation Command, presents Lt. Col. Matthew T. Daigneault, Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron commanding officer, Marine Corps Air Station New River with the 2nd place overall Joint Operational Support Airlift Center Squadron of the Year award March 7, 2019, at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. The JOSAC Unit of the Year award is given to operational support lift units from any branch of service by the U.S. TRANSCOM as an acknowledgement of their contribution to the Operational Support Airlift Program with enthusiasm, cooperation and flexibility.
