Royal Thai soldiers forming the Royal Thai Army soccer team shake hands the U.S. Army team comprised of fellow Royal Thai soldiers partnered with U.S. Army soldiers with 643rd Engineer Company, and U.S. Marines with III Marine Expeditionary Force, deployed in support of Exercise Cobra Gold 2012, on the soccer pitch at the Ban Lumngoen School, Paktong Chai, Kingdom of Thailand, Jan. 28, 2012. The U.S. Army team beat the Royal Thai Army team 4 to 2. Cobra Gold 2012 provides unique and dynamic training opportunities for participating military partners, while also promoting relationship building between militaries and local community.
