190312-N-MD802-1003 CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. (March 12, 2019) Seabees assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Unit 5 operate an 11k Skytrak forklift to offload supplies for an emergency medical facility on Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California as part of Exercise Pacific Blitz 2019 (PacBlitz19). Working hand-in-hand, the 1st Marine Logistics Group and Navy expeditionary force capabilities complement each other in the building of advanced naval bases. PacBlitz19 provides relevant training that replicates a realistic maritime threat environment designed to improve naval amphibious core competencies necessary for effective, global crisis response expected of the Navy and Marine Corps.
