Ryan Thompson, 156th Airlift Squadron active duty advisor, observes Senior Airman Olivia Grant, 156th Airlift Squadron loadmaster, as she prepares to attach a winch to a piece of air traffic control equipment prior to loading it aboard a C-17 Globemaster III aircraft at the North Carolina Air National Guard Base, Charlotte Douglas International Airport, Mar. 10, 2019. Members from the 235th Air Traffic Control Squadron partnered up with the 145th Logistic Readiness Squadron, Small Air Terminal, and 156th Airlift Squadron to help train air traffic control members with the transportation and setup of a deployable airfield.
