An M1A1 Abrams tank awaits transport aboard a landing craft, air cushion Feb. 1 at Onslow Beach, Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, N.C. The beach served as a rally point for many units boarding ship to participate in Exercise Bold Alligator 2012, which is the largest naval amphibious exercise in the past 10 years.
