After 40 years in law enforcement, which included Secret Service and FBI duties, and Presidential assignments, the last 10 years were spent aboard Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany as the Chief of Police, Chief Randy Jack will officially retire December 31. MCLB Albany's Executive Director Leonard Housley presented Chief Jack with a Commendation for Meritorious Civilian Service, a retirement certificate, and an American flag flown in his honor upon retirement. Additionally, he received congratulatory letters from former President Jimmy Carter and the Commandant of the Marine Corps. Chief Jack's tireless efforts, distinctive accomplishments and total dedication to duty reflect great credit in keeping with the highest traditions of the Marine Corps and the United States Naval Service. Chief Jack's wife, Deborah Jack, was also presented with a certificate of appreciation. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Re-Essa Buckels)
