Army Reserve Sgt. 1st Class Tim Sierra, Intelligence Analyst, 85th U.S. Army Reserve Support Command, attempts the 3 Repetition Maximum Deadlift event of the Army Combat Fitness Test at the Battalion Commanders Huddle, Mar. 9, 2019. The MDL is one of six test events for the developing ACFT that will be the new standard for Soldier fitness. The purpose of the briefing was to understand the 85th USARSC commanding general’s vision statement of Enhancing Lethality with Superior Service, Proactive Support and World Class Trainers, while creating a shared understanding of the command relationship, where they are as an organization, and where the command is heading. The organization shares in a multi-component partnership with First Army, supporting observer coach/trainer support to ensure readiness of deploying forces.
