Members of the Afghan Uniformed Police take notes during a class on the Afghan constitution in Kajran district, Daykundi province, Afghanistan, Jan. 31. The class is part of a three-week course, which qualifies AUP members to teach Afghan Local Police candidates basic policing procedures, weapons handling and other skills necessary to protect and defend Afghan citizens and maintain stability in the region.
