U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. David Berning, a 386th Expeditionary Civil Engineering Squadron firefighter, and Senior Master Sgt. Thomas McDonough, the 386th ECES fire chief, celebrate the end of one of the tower climb heats with a high-five in an undisclosed location, Southwest Asia Feb. 3, 2012. Berning and McDonough, both natives of St. Paul, Minn., participated in a 1,280-stair climbing charity event for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's 'Climb for a Cure' in Minneapolis, Minn., in conjunction with a fellow fire department in St. Paul, Minn.
