Australian ambassador to Iraq, Dr. Joanne Loundes, and New Zealand ambassador to Iraq, Ms. Tredene, speak with Col. Shehab, Commander of the Iraqi 2nd Non-Commission Officer School of Infantry (SINCO2) at Taji Military Complex, Iraq, March 18, 2019. Training delivered at SINCO2 is overseen by Task Group Taji -8 (TGT-8) instructors. This training involves lessons on how to plan, organize, deliver, and assess a wide range of training packages. The primary focus of these packages is on core infantry skills such as shooting, field craft, and maneuver at squad, platoon, and company levels. TGT-8 is a combined Aus-tralian-New Zealand Task Group that provides the Iraqi Security Forces with training to enable the stabilization of areas cleared of Daesh.
