190312-N-RU084-1010 VANDENBERG AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. (Mar. 12, 2019) – U.S. Navy Constructionman Francis Vinoya from Brockton, Massachusetts, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 5, operates a jack hammer during an expeditionary rapid airfield damage repair (ExRADR) exercise on Vandenberg Air Force Base, California in support of Pacific Blitz 2019 (PacBlitz19). The ExRADR exercise tests the EOD and Seabee units’ ability to assess and repair runways enabling continued support to Navy and Marine Corps operations. PacBlitz19 provides realistic, relevant training necessary for effective global crisis response and provides reassurance to U.S. regional partners and allies of enduring commitment to regional stability.
