Marines assigned to the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit depart the amphibious dock landing ship USS Whidbey Island after completing a 10 1/2-month deployment in both the U.S. 5th and 6th Fleet areas of responsibility. Whidbey Island deployed as part of the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group and is returning to homeport at Little Creek, Va.
