Col. Rudolph M. Janiczek and Lt. Col. Thomas B. Savage return a salute to the 1st Marine Division, Headquarters’ Marines marching during a change of command ceremony at the 33 Area Parade Deck, Feb. 8. Savage relieved Janiczek as the 1st Marine Division, Headquarters Battalion commanding officer during the ceremony. Janiczek will continue on as the chief of staff for 1st Marine Division.
