U.S. Marine Corps Chief Warrant Officer 3 Amir Golshani is the 3rd Marine Logistics Group Maritime Prepositioning Force (MPF) Officer during an MPF offload for Exercise Balikatan aboard the vehicle cargo ship U.S.N.S Pililaau (TAKR-304), March 22, 2019, at Subic Bay International Airport, Republic of the Philippines. MPF offloads provide the Marines Corps the ability to distribute equipment and assets to service members in deployed environments through the Indo-Pacific region at a moment’s notice.
