Cal Guard Soldiers form up the morning of March 25 at Camp Roberts. The Soldiers arrived to conduct wildland firefighter training for one week with CAL FIRE. One hundred of the Soldiers will be selected to form Task Force Rattlesnake, which will be sent out to vulnerable areas throughout California to clear potential flammable materials, such as dead trees and brush, that could serve as wildfire "fuels."
