190401-N-YM543-221 GULF OF THAILAND (April 1, 2019) - Ensign Serena Gardner, from Santa Maria, Calif., attached to U.S. 7th Fleet Flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19), directs the crew of a rigid hull inflatable boat to rescue a simulated man overboard casualty. Blue Ridge is the oldest operational ship in the Navy and, as 7th Fleet command ship, actively works to foster relationships with allies and partners in the Indo-Pacific Region.
