ATLANTIC OCEAN (March 28, 2018) Aviation Electrician's Mate 3rd Class Steve Afanador, left, and Aviation Structural Mechanic 2nd Class Christopher Deimel, both assigned to the "Vipers" of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 48, remove a AGM-114 Hellfire missile from an MH-60R Sea Hawk helicopter aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS Forrest Sherman (DDG 98). Forrest Sherman and HSM-48 are part of the Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group participating in SUSTEX, an integrated, comprehensive exercise designed to ensure the Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group is ready to meet all mission sets and carry out sustained combat operations from the sea.
