ARABIAN GULF (March 27, 2019) Gunner’s Mate 3rd Class Dalton Duren, from Pleasant Hill, Iowa, remotely fires a Mark 38 25 mm machine gun system aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS Chung-Hoon (DDG 93) during a live-fire exercise in the Arabian Gulf, March 27, 2019. Chung-Hoon is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and the Pacific through the western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.
