Aviation boatswain's mates maneuver a CH-46 Sea Knight helicopter assigned to Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron (HMM) 364, the Purple Foxes, on the flight deck of the amphibious assault ship USS Peleliu. Peleliu is participating in Iron Fist 2012, a training exercise between U.S. Marines and the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force designed to increase interoperability and amphibious capabilities throughout the U.S. 3rd and 7th Fleet areas of responsibility.
