Brig. Gen. Carl Reese, Department of the Army assistant surgeon general for mobilization, readiness and National Guard affairs, awards Col. Harry Caravaggio III, former deputy commander/administrative officer of the Pennsylvania Army National Guard Medical Detachment, with The Order of Military Medical Merit. Caravaggio was presented the award during an annual medical training symposium at Fort Indiantown Gap March 29 his thorough medical readiness analyses which have led to continuing superior efficiencies in regards to troop readiness. The Order of Military Medical Merit is noteworthy because it can only be presented to an individual by prior recipients of the award.
