Brig. Gen. Craig C. Crenshaw (left), 3rd Marine Logistics Group, commanding general, and Lt. Col. Kirk D. Mullins, battalion commander for Combat Assault Battalion, observed the snake handling portion of the jungle survival skills training led by the Royal Thai Marines here Feb 11. Crenshaw was observing the training facilities used by the Royal Thai Marines, U.S. Marines and Republic of Korea Marines during Exercise Cobra Gold 2012. Cobra Gold is a recurring multinational and multiservice exercise co-hosted by the Royal Kingdom of Thailand and the U.S. designed to advance regional security by nations training toward shared goals and security commitments in the Asia-Pacific region.
