Staff Sgt. Brad Becher and Airman 1st Class Kevin Fults, both air surveillance technicians from the 964th Airborne Air Control Squadron, identify combat aircraft during a Red Flag air operations exercise from aboard an E-3 Sentry AWACS, Jan. 27, near Nellis Air Force Base, Nev. ASTs make the initial identification of friend or foe aircraft and monitor their position. The 964th AACS is stationed at Tinker Air Force Base, OK and is providing command and control (C2) for Red Flag 12-2.
