A Team of Disaster Response Soldiers and a Representative from the Hawaii Emergency Management Agency arrives and the Batasan Hills Barangay on the first day of the Community Disaster Readiness Exercise, Batasan Hills, March 25, 2019. The exercise was held at a command post level and field training level and included the Quezon City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council (QCDRRMC) and the Batasan Hills Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (DRRMO). The Hawaii National Guard State Partnership Program brought civilian disaster management professionals from state and county levels to evaluate the Philippine municipality response to a simulated earthquake.
