Col. Michael Getchell, commander, 4th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division and Lt. Gen. David Morrison, Chief of Army, Australia, discuss the brigade’s organization and operational capabilities at the tactical operations center Feb. 6 here. During Morrison’s visit, he observed and discussed SBCT mission command capabilities and collective training with the brigade’s leadership, building a stronger strategic U.S.-Australian Army relationship. The “Raiders” are currently engaged in Exercise Raider Focus, a month-long brigade training exercise designed to challenge the ability of leaders and soldiers to conduct full spectrum operations as a combined arms team.
