NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (April 5, 2019) Machinist's Mate (Nuclear) 1st Class Christopher Majercin, from Normal, Illinois, assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford's (CVN 78) reactor department, receives an enlisted surface warfare specialist certificate from Cmdr. Emily Bassett, Ford's reactor officer, during an awards-at-quarters ceremony in the ship's reactor training classroom.
