U.S. Marine Corps Maj. Gen. William D. Beydler, commanding officer, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, III Marine Expeditionary Force, plants seeds at the dedication ceremony for a multipurpose building constructed at the Ban Lang Khao School, Muaklek, Sara Buri, Thailand, Feb. 15, 2012. U.S. Marines with Marine Wing Support Squadron 172 partnered with members of the Royal Thai Air Force and civilians constructed the building over the course of a month in support of Exercise Cobra Gold 2012. The exercise improves the capability to plan and conduct combined joint operations, building relationships between partnering nations and improving interoperability across the Asia-Pacific region.
