    USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19)

190411-N-YG414-010 KOTA KINABALU, Malaysia (April 11, 2019) – Deputy Commander, U.S. 7th Fleet, Rear Adm. Ted LeClair addresses media representatives and answers questions after the ship's arrival in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia. The purpose of the visit is to promote relationships between U.S. Navy Sailors, Malaysian citizens and the Royal Malaysian Navy, and demonstrate U.S. Navy capabilities. Blue Ridge is the oldest operational ship in the Navy and, as U.S. 7th Fleet command ship, actively works to foster relationships with allies and partners in the Indo-Pacific Region.
