A mobile surveillance camera system remains stationed near the Fort Hancock Border Patrol Station, April 9 at Fort Hancock, Texas. Soldiers assist the Customs and Border Protection agents by monitoring sectors for illegal activity. The Department of Defense has deployed units across the Southwest Border at the request of U.S. Customs and Border Protection and is providing logistical, engineering, and force protection functions.
