A KC-135 Stratotanker from the 100th Air Refueling Wing sits on the flightline here, Oct. 15, 2010, prior to departing on an air refueling mission over the North Sea with F-15s from nearby RAF Lakenheath. The Stratotanker's unique asset greatly enhances the Air Force's capability to accomplish its primary missions of Global Reach and Global Power. This aircraft offloaded fuel to nine jets from the 48th Fighter Wing during its mission.
