Maj. Gen. Jeffrey B. Clark, outgoing Deputy Commanding General for Operations and the 27th Chief, Medical Corps, U.S. Army Medical Command, JBSA Fort Sam Houston, sings the Army song during his retirement ceremony. The event was held at the historical Quadrangle at Joint Base-San Antonio, TX on April 13,2019. Gen. Clark served for thirty-five years in the U.S. Army starting out as a board certified Family Medicine physician in Fort Ord, CA. He served many roles in Army Medicine to include an assignment as Director of Operations for the Defense Health Agency (DHA) from 2016 to 2018. Among his many awards and decorations are two Defense Superior Service Medals and two Legion of Merits.
