Soldiers serving with 5th Battalion, 20th Infantry Regiment, 1-2 Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 7th Infantry Division, exit a C-130 Hercules aircraft and set up a perimeter, securing the airfield at Palau International Airport April 13, 2019 as Exercise Palau kicks off. The exercise will run from the 13th - 19th, and will include several security cooperation training events as well as community and animal health outreach services at several sites including Koror, Peleliu and Angaur. The exercise is sponsored by U.S. Army Pacific and hosted by the nation of Palau, and contributes to and strengthens the U.S. and Palau relationships, and contributes to a free and open Indo-Pacific.
