The Little Angels Children's Folk Ballet of South Korea visited Col. Rudolph M. Janiczek, chief of staff, 1st Marine Division, at the 1st Marine Division Headquarters building on Mainside, Feb. 16. The Little Angels were in California preparing for a show at the Balboa Theater in San Diego, Calif. and came to the base for a tour and to visit Marines. The group was established in 1962 and has performed in 70 different countries, including all 22 of the United Nations member states that provided troops or humanitarian aid to Korea during, or after, the Korean War. During their visit with the chief of staff, the Angels toured the historic headquarters building dubbed the "white house," where historical items are displayed from the wars the division has participated in, including the Korean War.
