Soldiers serving with 1st Platoon, 5th Battalion, 20th Infantry Regiment, 1-2 Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 7th Infantry Division, check their targets during small arms live-fire at a range outside of Koror, Palau April 17, 2019 as a part of Exercise Palau. The firing range was built on land that was set aside by a security agreement between Palau and the United States. Exercise Palau runs from the 13th - 19th, and will include several security cooperation training events as well as community and animal health outreach services at several sites including Koror, Peleliu and Angaur. The exercise is sponsored by U.S. Army Pacific and hosted by the nation of Palau, and contributes to and strengthens the U.S. and Palau relationships, and contributes to a free and open Indo-Pacific.
