190403-N-CE622-0467 ATLANTIC OCEAN (April 3, 2019) Aviation Structural Mechanic 2nd Class Eugene Jones, from Oakland, Calif., performs a “turn around” on the engine of an MH-60R Sea Hawk helicopter assigned to Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron 72 on the flight deck of the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Lassen (DDG 82) during a sustainment exercise. Lassen is a part of the Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group participating in SUSTEX, an integrated, comprehensive exercise designed to ensure HSTCSG is ready to meet all mission sets and carry out sustained combat operations from the sea.
