U.S. Army Reserve Spc. Laura Crespo, a bandsman for the 78th Army Band, performs “Time after time” with Spc. Luis Gastaliturris, a bandsman with the 78th Army Band, for the West End House Boys and Girls Club in Allston, Massachusetts, April 12. Crespo is a senior at Berklee School of Music. The U.S. Army Reserve provided Crespo with opportunities away from her hometown in Puerto Rico. “My mom always said take the first opportunity to leave Puerto Rico, and make a life out there,” said Crespo.
