Builder 3rd Class Jerry Keppler, a native of Decatur, Ill., assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 7, spreads visqueen to prevent rain from removing the cement surface on a 18’X40’ concrete pad placement at the Battalion’s camp at Kandahar Airfield. NMCB 7 and its detachments are one of two Seabee Battalions conducting contingency construction and deconstruction in support of the International Security Assistance Force as part of Task Force Stethem, operating in the U.S. Central Command area of operation.
