A monument honoring the memory of the heroic actions of the service members and Chamarros that helped liberate Guam during World War II stands at Asan Beach, Guam, March 30, 2019. U.S. Marines and Sailors with I Marine Expeditionary Force, Navy Expeditionary Combat Command and U.S. 3rd Fleet visited the park while they participated in an Oceania site tour ensuring our regional partners and allies we are committed to working together to maintain a peaceful, prosperous, free and open Indo-Pacific region.
