U.S. Air Force Capt. Melissa Proctor, 60th Inpatient Squadron, conducts a tour of the Aeromedical Evacuation Flight facility, at David Grant USAF Medical Center April 17, 2019, at Travis Air Force Base, California. Registered nurses from North Bay Healthcare Medical Center and the University of California Davis Medical Center spent the day touring several departments at DGMC. They observed how their military counterparts conduct day to day logistics at an Air Force hospital. The event also included visits to the intensive care unit, surgery center, emergency room and hyperbaric oxygen treatment chamber, as well as a C-17 Globemaster III aircraft patient transport demonstration.
