Scenes from a commissioning ceremony on the fantail of the decommissioned Iowa-Class Battleship USS Wisconsin (BB-64). Second Lieutenant Parker, a recent Virginia Wesleyan University graduate, was commissioned into the United States Marine Corps in a ceremony in front of members of her family and distinguished guests.
